Alleghany County
Public Library
The Alleghany County Public Library promotes the love of
reading and fosters the pursuit of knowledge among the residents of Alleghany
County. Our summer reading program begins June 24 at 3:30 p.m. and runs through July 29 at 3:30 p.m., each Tuesday with two exceptions. There is no program the week of July 4th and we have a special program, Snakes Alive, on Monday, June 21, at the Higgins Center, instead of Tuesday at the library. These programs are geared for kindergartners through sixth graders (Snakes alive is open to everyone, children or adults, regardless of age). Toddler and pre-school storytime is held on Tuesday mornings at 10 a.m.
(toddlers) and 11 a.m. (pre-schoolers). Parents or caregivers are required to
attend with the child. |
